Sowing Period

• When to Sow: March to April

Sowing Method

• Where to Sow: Sow seeds in a tray filled with seed compost, spacing them well apart, or use peat pots. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into small pots and continue growing them on.

Transplanting Time

• When to Transplant: Plant out in the following April into well-prepared beds. Dig trenches 20cm (8") deep and 30cm (12") wide for planting.

Harvest Time

• Maturity: Ready to harvest from April to June the following year.
