Jackpot F1 Aubergine seeds yield glossy, dark purple fruits with exceptional flavour. Known for their early development, these aubergines can be harvested when small, as a true baby vegetable, typically weighing around 80 grams.

The spineless plants produce an abundant crop over an extended period. Their compact size makes them ideal for growing in pots on patios or in greenhouses. For best results, plants may require support with string or canes.

Sowing Timeframe

• When to Sow: January to April
• Germination: Typically takes 7-10 days.

Sowing Method

• Where to Sow: Sow seeds 2cm (¾") apart in seed trays or two per cell in modules under glass at 20°C. Lightly cover with vermiculite or finely sieved compost.

Seedling Care

• Once seedlings have developed two full leaves, transplant them into individual pots.
• Continue to grow in pots or transfer to grow-bags. Plants can also be placed in containers outdoors in a sunny, sheltered spot.
• Begin feeding once a week with a high-potash tomato fertilizer as soon as the first fruits set.
