Brigitte F1 Brussel Sprout Seeds are a first-class variety, producing perfectly shaped, medium-sized buttons with a sweet, nutty flavour and high levels of Vitamin C. Vigorous and adaptable, this variety thrives in both high and low fertility soils.

With excellent disease tolerance, these sprouts stay in peak condition from mid-October to mid-December, offering an extended harvest period of top-quality sprouts.

Sowing Timeframe

• Timing: Sow seeds from March to April
• Germination: Seeds typically sprout within 7-12 days
• Transplanting: Ready for planting out around 4 weeks after sowing (April - May)

Sowing Location

• Thinly sow seeds in trays or place two seeds per cell in modules under glass at 13°C.
• For later sowings, plant seeds in shallow drills 2cm (¾") deep in short rows outdoors.

Seedling Care

• Once seedlings develop their first true leaves in the glasshouse, transplant into trays, spacing 5cm (2") apart, or thin to one seedling per cell.
• Gradually acclimate seedlings before planting them out at approximately 15cm (6") tall.
• Space plants 60cm (24") apart in the garden. For outdoor sowings, thin to the same distance.
